Thanks dude! Got my exhaust on the car, sounds good, but the car has no power at all, revving it in neutral takes about the same amount of time to hit the limiter as a 2nd or 3rd gear pull in a functional car. It was like this before I put the exhaust on too, I just hoped it was because it didnt have an exhaust.

So the car is running WAY too rich, daylight has revealed all the unburnt fuel that's coming out of the exhaust, I couldn't see it last night after putting the exhaust on.
And the 3 foot flames coming out of the exhaust is another good indication of how much goddamn fuel there is hahaha.
So tomorrow ill try to set timing, back off the fuel pressure, and put some better plugs in, hopefully that can cure it.

Check fpr or the o rings on the fuel injectors could be leaking.

Stock pressure should be 35psi at idle and on my FPR its registering at 38-39psi at idle, so I definitely need to back it off a little. And I think the motor has developed a knock, not sure if im just now noticing it because I can now hear it because it has an exhaust now, or if its just recently happened.
Its blowing out oil too along with the fuel, so I am just going to dial down the fuel and drive it until it blows up. And build one of the DOHCs I have.

The knock has probably been there just couldn't hear it. Oil coming out the exhaust probably valve seals? You gonna build the dohc for boost?

Yeah that's what I was thinking.
And yeah im gonna boost it, I have a t3/to4e kit for an EP3 civic that im going to use what I can from it.
Should be sufficient for the time being.

Problem? Plugs were like this before I ever started the car, so I don't think its something I did wrong, probably something wrong with motor. Does anyone know what fuel pressure I need to be running? www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds5khgYDxEQStays around 39psi at idle, jumps to 43-44 with throttle.

Got my temp gauge hooked up too. Its only gotten up to 160.
I dont have a T-stat in this motor, is 160 too cold?

These guys are saying 42psi when you fist turn your key to on then 35psi at idle. www.240sxforums.com/forums/ka24de-ka24e/121605-fuel-pressure.htmlWow those plugs look rough. On a completely stock motor it shouldn't matter too much if your at 160 operating temp is around 180. But you have 2 diff temp sensors gotta make sure the 1 that goes to the ecu is good or it will think its always cold and add to much fuel.

That explains why its running rich as fuck, the 2 wire temp sensor isnt hooked up on my motor, the previous owner drilled/tapped the hole much bigger for some dumb ass reason, and I just plugged it off with a bolt. Looks like I need to find someplace to put it after all.
